Job Summary:

Bellows Systems is looking for a motivated, hands-on Manufacturing Engineer who wants to build deep technical expertise on the shop floor. This is not a desk job — you will be in the thick of production, learning advanced manufacturing processes, solving real problems, and growing into a subject matter expert. If you are energized by precision work, love figuring out how things are made, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role was designed for you.

We are actively recruiting recent college graduates for this role. If you are early in your career and eager to build real technical depth in manufacturing, we want to hear from you.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Extract and develop manufacturing methods from design drawings and engineering data.
  • Work side-by-side with production team to develop and refine manufacturing process plans, work instructions, and routings for complex, high-mix, low-volume parts
  • Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances and production issues
  • Collaborate with quality, procurement, and production planning teams to drive on-time delivery and continuous improvement
  • Participate in new product development (NPD) activities, working from drawings to production-ready processes
  • Help maintain and improve tooling, fixturing, and shop floor documentation
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a closely related field (recent graduates encouraged to apply)
  • Genuinely enjoys hands-on work — you want to understand the process, not just manage it from afar
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Strong problem-solving mindset: curious, persistent, and resourceful
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are the same
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required
NICE TO HAVE
  • Exposure to aerospace, or precision metal manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with welding processes, sheet metal fabrication, or metal forming
  • Experience with ERP or MES systems
  • Autodesk Inventor or other CAD software experience
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing or process improvement principles
WHY JOIN BSI
  • Build real technical depth
  • Work on components that are used in high visibility applications
  • Fast-growing company with a strong trajectory
  • Collaborative, no-bureaucracy culture where your ideas and contributions are recognized
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package
  • Clear growth path into senior engineering, operations, or program management roles
